It's using CSHTML (Basically HTML and C#-Code) to display the gauges, numbers and a JSON file to assign Actions to the Buttons and rotary inputs. As nether Helios and not even DCSFlightpanels support the little Screen with 6 buttons + 2 rotary inputs, I have decided to remedy that and use DCS BIOS to interface with the Screen.
